Hey guys, Im new to these forums and i have a few questions! :)
First off, i have a basic setup, My substrate is paper towl, i have a zoomed heat pad, water bowl, food bowl, calcium dish, humid hide, cool hide, and hot hide. I dont have a basking light atm but i go back and forth with my green anole during the days. Does that sound good? Am i doing anything wrong? Do i need to add/remove anything not mentioned? and here are some pics of the little guy

The store said he is about 6 months old, and im not sure what type he is any guesses out there?

It looks pretty good. You dont need the basking light.Leos are nocturnal.they dont need the light shining on them. It''ll stress them out.Keep the warm end at 95 degrees but besides that it looks good

Morph might be a bit hard to tell until he's been out of the pet shop for a while with proper food and care. I'm guessing he'll brighten on up now that he's in a real home.

I suppose a red bulb will provide some light if you want to see him at night.

Dont forget they are nocturnal so u definately wont see the leo during the day.I have an infrared light bulb that they dont mind. That way u can view at night. The box needs to say "Infrared" bulb which is different than just a red bulb

It's hard to tell what he is because he's in shed. Put a humid hide in there for him to do his stuff in, then when he comes out of shed it will be easier to tell. My guess right now is he's a normal type. I dooooont think he's mack snow, because I see a tint of brown on him on the first photo, which leads me to believe he'll brighten up big time.

Ok I understand leos are nocturnal but having a light on them is not a bad thing. Leos do exist in places where the sun shines and although the leo might spend all day hiding it wont stress them out to walk out into the light. Yes walking in the light can be a little uncomfortable but they arent going to get sick because they have a white light basking bulb...

well i was actually thinking of just getting him a 50 watt basking bulb. Its not to hot and should be good just for the day incase he comes out :)

^_^ It's really cute whatever it is. In the picture it looks to be in shed, make sure that you have a moist hide ready for it, or else it may have trouble getting all of the shed off. Post more pics after it sheds! Maybe we'll be able to morph it for you after it's all done. Also, do you know how to sex it?

Though if there's normal daylight in the room, he ought to be fine without. Basically, just don't leave the critter in constant light or darkness. :D
