There is no visual difference, the only way to find out is test breeding. Breed them to a non-snow, and if you get a mix of TUG snows and non-snows it is a 1C, if you consistently get all TUG snows it is likely a 2C.

Great calculator!but one thing, with your calculator, you can't have like an APTOR het RAPTOR,or a tremper het RAPTOR.is there a way you could fix that?it would be greatly appreciated!

Or could I just put the het tremper eclipse(RAPTOR)on the other gecko?like if I wanted to put in an APTOr het raptor to say a mack snow, could I just put in APTOR x mack snow het RAPTOR.would this give me the same outcome?

You can have Tremper het RAPTOR. The Tremper gene is in the phenotype (the visual genetics) and the genotype (the genetics it contains but doesn't show, like hets). The Eclipse part is in the genotype to. So Tremper + Eclipse in the Genotype basically means a RAPTOR. But I see what your saying, Instead of saying Tremper het RAPTOR you could say Tremper het Eclipse.

Just so everyone knows, the Leopard Gecko Morph Calculator is changing web address.

It will now be:

http://www.LeopardGeckoMorphCalculator.co.uk/MorphCalculator.aspx

The old address will be retired soon so, you are best updating your bookmarks to point at the new one soon!!

Many thanks - and thank you all for the feedback you've given me during the year so far. I've been busy adding a few new morphs and trying to sort out a few glitches. Any more things, please do message me and let me know :)

Thanks again,

Chris.

Sunglow was one of the few morphs I hadnt put into the calculator.

"Officially" a Hybino is a Superhypo Albino... and a Sunglow is just a more tangerine version of a Hybino... So, you could do it that way. Alternatively, if people think Sunglow should go in of it's own accord, I'll add it :)

This makes sense, but I am looking for "het for sunglow". Because all I can do is het for one of the albinos, and that's not what I'm looking for. I want tremper albino het for sunglow.

Very good calculator though. :) I really appreciate that you made this, and will continue using it!

Very nice calculator, a little suggestion, would it be better to have a backward function whereby key in a name of certain morph. It'll tell you the combinations of the pairing to produce the morph you want. Just my suggestion, its not easy and thumbs up for the contribution.

This makes sense, but I am looking for "het for sunglow". Because all I can do is het for one of the albinos, and that's not what I'm looking for. I want tremper albino het for sunglow.

The reason for this is that a "Sunglow" is a very orange, even heading for red "Super Hypo Albino" (could be any of the three albino types). As such, I don't give you the option for "het Sunglow" because, to be "het sunglow" you must have a SHTCT or SHTCTB, het Albino or possibly a Hypo (1 Copy) Albino (otherwise known as a Hybino 1 copy hypo variant). As such, there's more than one way to be "het Sunglow" so, I can't just give you a tickbox for you to select that from. Instead, the calculator needs you to tell it which of the "het sunglow"s you have :) Hope that makes sense.

How about Emerine

Mr Tremper will tell you...

"This green color mutation is referred to as the "Emerald" line. This morph is from a random gene mutation and not the result of a combination or line bred approach. The gene for green acts like the genetics for tangerine. Just as there are many types of tangerine geckos there are already several spectacular variations of the Emerald."

So, I guess I could add a new "Emerald" option with the "Tangerine" option. That way you could select Emerald or combine Emerald and Tangerine to do "Emerine". I'll look into this soon :)

Tough one to do!! :)

The issue with doing that comes when someone decides they want to know what morphs can they cross to make a "Supersnow Hypo Tremper Albino Murphy Patternless het Rainwater Albino het Black Pearl het Blizzard"?!!. The list of possible "2 geckos" which could combine up to make one of those is... HUGE!! (and trust me, someone will want to know! I still get emails from people who've ticked absolutely every box in the calculator so as to try and produce the longest list of possible outcomes they can!)

It's a nice idea but I think it would probably get used by a lot of people to try and find answers to mega-multi-morphs, if that makes sense? Thanks for the idea though :)
