i just got off the phone with the guy and suppose to call him back later today to confirm if i wish to buy these... should i be worried about these geckos due to the fact that he does not have pics handy and does not seem to want to waste the time to take any... is this a normal practice for some people. He was telling me that he was selling them at 1 point and had no clue to what they were.

i would be cautious. but you can always go and see if you don't like you don't have to buy. that's strange for him not to know what his gecko is especially if he sells them.

I would definitely be concerned about that. We always have time to take pictures of our geckos and get updated weights, etc. Sometimes it may take a few hours but I always get back to people with pics. If he doesn't have time to take a photo then I don't think it would be unreasonable to think that he might not have time to properly care for these geckos. They could be in bad health or have parasites and he's just trying to get rid of them. Unless he lives right down the street from you I would demand a photo.

I wouldn't really buy one from him until he does the proper research.
