New Leopard Gecko owner

Hi, recently purchased my first gecko is it normal for them not to eat for first week? Had him 4 days and very rarely seen him out of his hide. Gecko is 16 weeks old. Thanks

It's very usual for them not to eat at first and also for juveniles to hide most of the time. Hopefully you'll start seeing poops within a few weeks.
