new leopards from petco...

These are my first two leopard geckos, are they big enough to be sexed? I didn't see the bump at the base of the tail or the V shaped pores when i bought them.

Will they keep the pattern they have now or is it just their juvenile coloration? Are their any other ways of sexing them besides the V shaped pores and the bulge at the base of the tail? I just don't want to end up with two males...

They're too small to tell, for me anyways. Take some close ups of their "private" area, one of the breeders on here might be able to tell you. Congrats on the nicest petco leos i ever saw!

They gray will usually fade, I have found. I like that you added more hides to the tank. It is looking nice! When are you getting the 20L?

I already have the 20 gallon long for them, just wanted to start them out in something smaller. They dont seem to want to eat very much. Each one has had one mealworm since i got them. I tried dropping one in front of their cave and they approach it and they will touch it with their nose but they dont eat it...

It will prob take them a while to adjust to their new tank. Try not to disturb them to much in the next few weeks.

get pictures from below them and we can try to sex them. they are really good finds for a store like petco. if you dont mind me asking what they had them marked as n for how much. you have just got yourself 2 hypo tangs

They had them marked as leopard geckos. They didn't name any color variations. They were on sale for 15.99 but when i got home we looked at the receipt and i was only charged for one at regular price which was 25.99. So i got 2 for 25.99 What does hypo tang mean?

Wow you might have a male and a female there! Top one looks like female bottom looks like a male. I may be way off its really hard to tell.

Females have only one small buldge right by their vent, and have no truly visible pores shaped like a "V". Males have visible pores above their vent shaped like a "V" and two buldges. Looks like the first on is a female, but the second one I cant tell. Is that brown thing on the vent a smudge on the camera lense. It looks like it could be some type of prolapse?

Is that the "V" inside the red circle? I can kinda see a V shape. And the smudge is lizard "waste" lol
