Hi there. :D I'm kinda new and new at having Leopard geckos. I've had my Boltz for about... uh... three months now, and Epic actually just came in this morning. 8D

I'm new to having leos, so any words of advice will be appreciated. My family doesn't really understand the significance they are to me. :/ But she lets me have Boltz nonetheless. (She currently doesn't know about Epic. >>)

Anyways, I think that's pretty much all. Thanks for welcoming me to the forums.

What ever you do, do NOT use any type of SAND! Even if it says SAFE FOR LEOS, dnot use it. Its not safe. When they eats the crickets...sand gets into their mouth and they swallow it. It will clog them up and give them impaction.

I have a couple of my Boltz but they're taken from my web cam cause I don't have a digital camera. And I haven't got to even touch Epic just yet. She's been laying in the same spot since I came home from work yesterday. >>

But here are some pictures of Epic now.

This is when I first got to touch her because she's evil and didn't want to be touched by anyone. She kept biting me, so I forced her to like me. lol.

welcome!

Hi Echsenmeister :D

How do you keep a gecko secret from your family?? ;)

Just convince them they don't stink (well -- not too much), don't trigger allergies, don't poop outside their enclosure, and don't leave hairs and scratches on your sofas...

Good luck with "hoarding" more geckos!

Lol. I had Boltz for about three months before my mom found out she was in there.

I'm just awesome like that I guess. I like sneaking. >> Sneaksneak.
