Yay! Sounds like she's on the mend. Like you said, you'll just have to monitor to make certain her eyes aren't getting stuck shut or reinfected while they continue to heal. I'd love to see more pictures. Does it appear that she's regained a good amount of eye sight?

Here are some pics as promise! Having some computer issues so I couldn't get them up sooner - sorry!

I did a flush last night, it was the first every other day flush. Her eyes were really crusted together and took quite a bit of gauze soaking to get them open. A bit of skin (?) came out, so it looks like I'm going back to every day flushing to get all that material out and I'll go to every other day a few days after her next shed. She should shed next week. Every day eye flushings might be what she needs until all that material is out. When I've had a couple of flushes that come out clear I'll try going back to every other day and see if she keeps them open. She was fighting it the entire time though, I had to get my friend that was over to hold her while I did the flushes because she didn't want to stay still. She was actively licking her eyes while I was doing the flush and I was able to actually see her eyes as well. Those seem to be good signs but we'll see.

One thing that I've noticed she does is make a clicking noise. Her breathing sounds good and the humidity in her enclosure has stayed at about 40-45% since we had all that rain. Anyways, back to the point, she makes the clicking noise while she's walking around, she doesn't do it when she's still and it's definitely coming from her mouth/throat. She is not acting threatened/afraid/annoyed, she seems quite content. I think she may be using it to gauge how far she is from things, like echo location. She also seems to use her tongue for this purpose too. She'll make the clicking noise every 15-30 seconds, when she gets close to an edge she'll stick her tongue out - if it touches something, she turns the other way.

Now the pictures! I included one of the new baby as well :) Sorry for the narrow depth of field, I'm having lens issues too, lol.

Even though she can't open her eyes for long, outwardly they appear so much better.

I wonder if there are any liquid vitamins you could give her to help her body stabilize?

Not sure if there are any supplements that would help her. I've had computer troubles, so didn't get a chance to research it. When I came home from work today she had shed. There was still a lot on her head so I pulled it off. It was a bit stuck around her eyes, when it was off she opened her eyes. One is very light grey/blue. I think she is blind in that eye. The other appears dark so far, but we'll see.

Eyes are looking even better this morning. Both are open and the one that appeared blue/white yesterday is now dark. It had appeared blue/white during her flushes as well so I just assumed that she couldn't see from it.

She's even pickier about eating now. I have to hand feed her - she will open her mouth for me to put the cricket in, then happily munches. Spoiled, lazy lizard.

I waved a cricket around from both sides of her face at different distances. She followed the cricket each time, so I think she has regained her sight.

Here are a few pics of her this morning. She's cuddled up on my neck right now digesting (I'm very warm lol).
