New setup, temperature question

Hi all! We are currently setting up a 45 gallon tank for a gargoyle gecko. We setup the cage with a thermostat in it so we could see what we might need for a heat lamp or heat pad. The temp is usually around 67 degrees Fahrenheit ( I know that’s cold, that’s how we like it) the cage is 18” wide, 18” deep, 24” tall
Do you think the temperature will stay warm enough at night time/ early morning with just running a heat lamp on the top of the cage during the day? So you think I should supplement heat with a mat or some other source all day long ( 24 hours) ?

I think the mid 60's is fine for a gargoyle. That's probably about what it is in my house in the winter. An easy way to provide a little heat if you're really worried and especially if you have plants in the enclosure is to use an incandescent light (as opposed to a compact florescent or LED) which will help the plants as well as the gecko.
