Yay! I was very excited yesterday to have received my two 1/2 29 gallon long tanks from glasscages.com. I couldn't set me leos up in them right away though, until today when I got all the supplies for their new tanks. I finally got everything set up and took pics, they aren't the best pics, and the tanks just seem so short...but I'll get used to it! Enjoy!

Here's Jiggy's set up, I tried to get most of the tank in the pic:

Here is my little gems half of a 29 gal tank...I split it into two so that when I get my new rainwater (hopefully next week) I can house her in the other half.

Trying to escape I imagine :p :

And this tank isn't new, but I've slowly been adding to it to make it look "natural", I'm finally done, and am pretty happy with it. This is Gypsy's:

And that's it...hope you enjoyed them!

Nice!!
I got 2 40's from them back in November, still tryin' to get them just right.
I really like Gypsy's pad, the humid hide is awesome. What did you use for substrate?

Thanks! Yea I made the humid hide out of a gladware container and just hot glued silk leaves onto it. The substrate is just brown repti carpet...I know in the picture it looks like something else, but it's repti carpet, just has a sheen to it in pictures.

It's a piece of plexi-glass or acrylic...I think it's acrylic, but I ordered it from a site that sold plexi glass, so I can't remember :D . It was a piece that was 6"x12" and I thought it would fit perfectly into the tank, but it was a little too tall so I had to manage to cut it a little and now it fits!

Here's a picture of the tank with the plexi glass in the middle:

Sort of...I guess I didn't take a picture of the whole tank, but you can see the plexi glass in this pic and it shows you the size of half of it.

It's definitely different than the normal height tanks, but I kind of like it, I'm still getting used to it of course. I like it because I have them on a bookshelf and it allows me to just take off the lid and do whatever I need to do in the tank...rather than having to take the tank down off the shelf or having to pull it out or something. But yea, I like 'em :D !

I have the half-29 front opening tanks from glasscages.com. They are 30" long and 9 1/2" tall, rather than 6". They don't feel as stunted to me. I keep them on shelves and have room to put supplies on top if the cages.

I didn't know about those...wish I had seen them! I really like the idea of front opening cages, but didn't think they had any that weren't either really expensive or too tall...oh well. I'm stuck with what I've got, and I don't really mind them, they are still nice.
