New to Geckos

Hi all, I am new to the reptile world and am looking for some guidance. I have a female leopard gecko that I’ve had for 2 years now. I have always had trouble interacting with her. The only time I really get to bond with her is feeding time. The times I’ve tried to pick her up she either walks very fast away from me or hunches her back as if she’s scared? I don’t like making her anxious or scared obviously, so I’m wondering if anyone has any pointers for me?
TIA!

I hate to say it but some geckos just don't like handling. They are generally not that interactive. You could try picking her up, even if she acts scared, and making a cave for her out of your hands. See how that goes.
