I just wanted to share some pics of my 36x18x18 vivarium. Can you see the geckos? Sorry for the blurry pics. I'm not much of a photographer.

There are 4 geckos living in there. 1.3 to be exact. If I zoom out, it would look like this. The two plastic tracks and the top screen unfortunately doesn't help me to take better pictures from far away.

I spy...3 geckos? Nice setups though! I always enjoy going naturalistic when it's possible. If only we had more room....

Wow, now that's an awesome set up. I only found 1 so far. Who makes the cage?

Noone. It's a 40breeder tank on it's side. I made the front by myself using glass, screening and silicone. Thanks for the compliments.:D

That's really cool! Love the natural look. :) How do you like the dirt substrate instead of paper towels?

Thanks. I used to house them in paper towels and it was a hassle misting them twice a day. I had them in tubs and I hated opening them from the top. Ever since I made this vivarium I only mist every other day. The humidity level hovers around 70% all the time. I guess because it's so tall and the screen is all the way at the top, the humidity has less time to escape. When I would mist every day the substrate would stay soggy.

Color me impressed! That's really a nice looking set up. I'm envious. Great job on the front. One last question--are you using centerpieds in there to assist with clean up duty? That's the one bug I can remember reading about that can be added to a living viv to help out.

Not exactly true. Isopods (a.k.a. sow bugs or rolie-polies) can also be used. And there are a few other mite-eating inhabitants that can be used as well.

I actually have a giant black millipede in the vivarium. I don't have the pill bugs but wouldn't mind them either. I don't worry too much about the waste on the floor as much as I do the sides of the glass.
