I'm extremely new to geckos....but I just had a few questions.
I have a 35 gallon horizontal tank and will be putting a male and female leopard gecko in it!
I see a lot of people are using tile for substrate, but what are some other ideas?
And what is a basic checklist before I adopt them? (Anything from the best food to temperature control devices, and any other gadgets.)

Thx Cody

Anything from the best food:get some crickets or meal worms. (crickets smell)
temperature control devices:you could get a heat mat. With a zoo med thermostat. (if needed) go out get the tank setup and test all the temps for a day or two.
other gadgets: maybe not a gadget but dishes, hides, thermometers.

I would say use paper towel or repti-carpet. I am using repti-carpet in all of my setups with no problems. I just threw my carpets into the washer for the first time and they look new except for one stain but I am lazy and don't mind it.

Can you tell me what you already have? Or if you were planning on using a UTH or a light?

Well, a tank :(
I'm trying to make a list so I can buy all the supplies at once.
So yeah any and everything you can tell me about or that I need would be awesome!

Well first where are you in the US? I am in Florida.
Find a leopard gecko care sheet.
You should use a heat mat but people say they are fire hazards. I have one tank with a heat mat that I rarely use. Just make sure it is getting the air it needs.
Use like I said before paper towel or Repti-Carpet.
Get some hides, dishes, and other decor at Pet Smart and Pet Co. Or a local petstore that is more of a specialty store.
