Hi, everyone!

I'm a newb...figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Tiffani. I'm from New York & I'm an animal lover (obviously). I look forward to joining the forum to gain and share information about geckos. :main_thumbsup:

Thanks for the welcome message! Sorry for such a late reply - I'm still getting used to the forum. I thought I'd be notified when someone replies to a threat, but now I see that is not the case lol

To answer your question, yes, I do have a gecko - a 2 year old female. I've had her almost all her life. I actually just posted a threat about her eating habits. She hasn't been eating crickets for the last 2 weeks, but eats everything else. Have any idea why?

Thanks again for the reply! I hope I get the hang of this soon

Some geckos develop a food preference and you're knd of stuck with it. Keep offering periodically and maybe she'll change her mind. By the way, I think you mean "thread" as opposed to "threat".

Some forums do notify you, but for some reason this one doesn't.

Thanks for the info, Aliza. I could be reading into it wrong, but you didn't have to condescendingly correct me. I think it's safe to say you knew I meant to say "thread" & not "threat"... I mean, forgive me in advance if I'm taking it the wrong way, but as a new member, you just didn't make me feel very welcomed by doing that. I could have easily said, "I think you meant 'kind' as opposed to 'knd'," but that would just be frivolous, no?

Again, forgive me in advance if I took it the wrong way. I'm here gain & share knowledge and make friends in the process, not come off snarky in any which way.

Thanks again for the reply. I do appreciate it, especially as a newbie.
