Hi I'm new to the site. My name is Sherry and I'm from Canada. I'm also the proud new owner of a rescued golden gecko. I would like to make her home as comfortable as possible. I would like to add live plants to her enclosure. Does anyone know what kind of plants are safe to add? :)

Hi, welcome to GF.
some reptile safe plants include ficus, pothos, schefflera
Dracaena, Ficus benjamina, and hibiscus and some succulents.

I was originally going to put some live plants in my enclosure but its more hassle than its worth and geckos really do not care either way.

If you do decide to put some in make sure to triple wash the soil and let it drain really well to make sure you get rid of a percentage of any fertilizer, chems and or pesticide from the soil.
Give the leaves and the soul of the plant a light misting a couple of times a week. Don't get it too wet. just my 2 c
