Newbie

So I've been browsing these forums for quite some time and decided to join today. My name is Monica. I live in Southern California outside of LA and moved here from Northern Virginia. I currently have 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 5 leopard geckos (and more on the way), 5 crested geckos, 1 mediterranean gecko, 1 peacock tree frog, 1 white's tree frog, 1 betta fish, 3 damselfish, 2 saltwater hermit crabs, and 2 corn snakes. I'm rather new with reptiles, and got my first reptile 4 years ago (Kone, a crested gecko that I still have today). If my collection has grown this much in the 4 years, I'd hate to see what it'll be like 10 years down the road. lol. They are so addicting!

Outside of my pets, I am currently in college to become an RVT (registered veterinary technician) and later a veterinarian (exotic of course). I am engaged to a wonderful man named John. We've been dating since Fall of 2006 when we met in chemistry class. Wedding date has not yet been planned as we wish to get our RVT licenses before getting married.

Welcome to GF. What school are you going to? There are a few RVT on here including myself.

Los Angeles Pierce College...I wouldn't recommend it. It's taking MUCH longer than it was supposed to due to classes being only one semester a year, or not even that..sometimes they're every other year. It's hard to get into the classes that you need, and if you don't get into that one that's offered every other year, then you're SOL.
