My grandson talked me into setting up a gecko terrarium - in for a dime, in for a dollar, or should I say many dollars...lol... We are in Bacliff, Texas.

Today I committed to buy a used 40-gallon terrarium tomorrow. Needless to say, my grandsons are over the hill. They are 8 & 10 years of age. I also ordered a pair of juvenile albino chocolate leopard geckos which should arrive Friday AM. Now we are scrambling to view as many videos on YouTube as we can cram in tonight because we have to set up everything ASAP. I am looking forward to this great adventure.

I assume you mean leopard geckos. You will need to check (if you don't know already) that you have 2 females if you want to keep them together. Two males are likely to fight and a male and a female will produce eggs which are not completely simple to incubate. Read a bunch of care sheets to make sure you have things right. The essentials include bottom heater, thermostat, non-particle substrate for juveniles, humid hide, water dish, Enjoy them!

Thanks for catching my omission. I have corrected it.
