So, I have a new camera and have posed my scaly dearies for the first time in their lives...hope I didn't do too badly...here goes:

Drake and Pyra (Drakes in the rock hut)

Those two were my first geckos; Drake is 7 yrs old and Pyra is 6 1/2.

This is Tango...is she a chocolate tangerine? That brownish tint showed up on her last shed about a week ago...she's just over a year old.

Papaya, I adore her, she's about 6 months old

Blaze, her intended, also about 6 months old

Eureka, my first enigma. His mother is Striped Bell, daddy enigma het Bell. I think I see faint striping on his sides, but I'm not sure...he's about 7 months old.

p.s. disclaimer: the ones on sand have ever only known sand...it is going to be phased out, I just need to figure out how to transition them...I'll head to that forum now. g'nite!

When you transition them from sand, they should be okay. They may not eat for a few days to a week or two, but they look healthy so they should be alright without eating for a little while. Just be patient and give them time to start going back to their regular routine. Taking them off of sand is the best thing that you could possibly do for them. :)

Pyra is beautiful!! Very nice geckos!! We were given a gecko that was on sand and put her on paper towels...she didn't eat for a couple of days...but now she's great!!! The transition shouldn't be too hard on them...I wouldn't think. Hope it works out for you!!
