No mold, just...losing them

So I had a batch of eggs in the incubator and last week they were fine. I come back today and ALL of them are dented to where they are unsavable. No mold, nothing. Just wondering what I did wrong? I have them in deli cups, incubator stays at a solid 80, and I spray down the sides of the deli cups once a week. Could it be that they need more moisture??? I feel like such a failure, this was my first batch and I botched it... HORRIBLY. Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh and I guess I should state that they were dented from the bottom up, not the tops. I had to lift up the eggs to see the dent... so I guess it is possible that they were denting for a longer period of time then just the last week.

Did you have holes in the deli cups?? I make sure to cover up all the holes, and you shoul dnot need to mist them weekely if you mixed the incubation media right.

I had a couple that I put in the incubator where I must have messed up the water/vermiculite ratio. They were dented very severely from the bottom up, like you described. They were so dehydrated and flat, I almost tossed them. Instead, I packed moist vermiculite around them just in case something might happen. I don't know if they will hatch or not, but 1 1/2 weeks later, one is nice and plump again. The other has regained moisture so it is only 1/4 dented in. I still think if they are able to hatch with no deformities, it will be a miricle, but it may happen.
