Right so, I bought this little girl back in October. I was told that she, along with her siblings she was being sold with, were all Normals buuuut now that she's getting bigger I'm not really sure:

The pictures may seem bright, but that's a fairly accurate representation of her colours. She looks WAY too light to be a Normal, but then again... She looks almost like a Snow to me. I may breed her to my Super Snow when she's bigger to make sure. I don't know exactly how old she is (note: first expo purchase, I failed to ask) but I'm guessing she's around 6-8 months.

What do you guys think? Am I just crazy?

Okay, thanks! :) I know I shouldn't question the breeder, considering they did breed the leos, I just wasn't sure. If I were to obtain a male with a significant amount of lavender, I could breed that lavender into their offspring, right? Possibly? That would be pretty. P:

looks like a captive bred normal with a good amount of lavender. the colors will continue to change...

ladytrupp - its not really neccessary to breed it to a Super Snow to prove it or not, because all babies will be Snows anyway. If it is indeed a Mack Snow, you could breed it to anything, and 50% of the babies would be Snows, so you would know.

From what I can tell it is not a Snow. Besides looking at a picture of it as a baby one of the ways I think you can identify or at least narrow it down to being snow or not is leg spotting. All of my Mack Snows have had heavy leg spotting. Your gecko looks like a very nice CB "normal" with lavender influence. Breeding her to a Male lavender will produce babies with varying amounts of lavender.

Here is an example of the leg spotting on a snow...sorry for bad picture its the first one i found
