not eating

well so me and jen broke which makes my name kind of lame i know. any way in the break up i got the gecko. now he wasnt doing to well the last couple days and i just transfered him to my house. my question is hes not eating. i just switched to crickets from meal worms and hes not eating im wondering how do i get him to start eating again and when should i worry that hes not eating?

Some geckos take a while to switch from crickets to mealworms and will just refuse to eat. If you can stand it, you might keep him on crickets for a couple of weeks until he adjusts to the new environment and then switch him to crickets. That way it's not so many changes all at once.

(Also, if you pm Kelli or Marcia and ask nicely they may be able to change your user name for you. ;) )

^ thanks bro. i noticed hes eating but not the way he use to when he was first on crickets. he eats like one at a time and lets the others run around a lot. he use to just attack and get them all. so i guess hes just nto that hungry

Try feeding every other day, I've had to start doing that because he would only eat like one cricket and let all the others run around.

Skipping a day or two makes him eat a little more.
