Not my week, and it just started.

First a very good friend of mine who's had major issues with her Pancreas for as long as I've known her is (13 years) had Puestow Procedure on Monday. If you do a google search on the procedure you'll see how serious it is. The Docs all said she's looking good and the surgery went well. However she looks like hell. At least they've got her on some strong meds to fight the pain. She'll be out of commission for the next few months, and won't be able to work.

Then I get woken up this morning to, "They rushed Jill (for those of you who saw me at Tinley this is my friend that was with me) into the hospital this morning around 0400, to find out that her appendix was about to rupture.". The did emergency surgery and that's all I know at this time. The reptile hater just left to meet her husband and go to the hospital to see her. They are going to call me from there and give me an update.

They will be letting Jill come home tomorrow, she had a slight reaction to something and want to keep her overnight, to be on the safe side.

Martha is starting to act normal as she's being taken off the meds. LOL Well as normal as she can be, at least for being one of my friends.

tell her to take it easy and rest. pancreatitis is nothing to mess around with. i know more than i would like to about it.
