Not using Hides

My leopard gecko is almost 1 now and lately she hasn't been going in any of her hides, i have 2, a warm one and a cool one, the cool one used to have moss in for shedding but she hasn't been going in it so i took the moss out. She just sits outside asleep all day, the only time she goes in her warm hide is to poop, if she does go in she is out by about 1 minute.

I'd put the moss back in, just in case she's using it when you're not there. She's probably just gotten used to you and her tank, an feels confortable outside her hides. I had a leo a few years back that practically became diurnal.

I have a girl right now that is doing the same thing. She has several great hides and she just wants to chill in the open off in one corner. Up until a few weeks ago she was happy in her warm hide, but lately she just wants to sleep outside. And one of my boys does that too, he'll fall asleep right against the front glass of his tank.

I wouldn't be worried. If you think all your temps and stuff are fine then there's probably nothing wrong, just personal preference.
