Not using the lay box?

Hey guys,
I've got a first timer who has already laid two eggs that were infertile (both outside of the lay box); and she's got two eggs brewing right now (verified veins, very visible eggs) that are bright pink and wonderful looking. She's a first timer though, and I don't know if she'll use the lay box. Have you ever had issues with a female not using her lay box?

I'm probably just worrying for nothing; but if anyone has some suggestions or some information that will ease my mind, I'd be very grateful.

Yes I've had issues with experienced geckos ditching the lay box. Here are your possibilities:

--leave her alone and see if she gets it (it's not unusual for infertile eggs to be laid outside the box
--watch her very carefully and when she seems ready, keep putting her in the lay box (make sure it's moist and inviting)
--if you miss getting her in before she lays, hopefully you have been checking really often so you can get the eggs right after they're laid and incubate them. I have had successful hatches this way
--as a last resort, put her in a small tank where the entire floor is diggable, sort of a giant lay box, and wait for her to lay.
