a cute little one nonetheless. It's our very first SHCTB hatchling, as the one before her didn't make it.. I was afraid for this egg too, but I woke up this morning to find her sleeping in the incubator :sweetheart:

She has a little piece of Perlite on her head; she didn't really like me trying to help her get it off :main_laugh: Looks like she has her daddy's black feet!

Thanks everyone!

That was the last egg from this season; but we already have a female that started laying eggs rather early, and so we have two more expected around Christmas. She only laid one infertile clutch on January 1st of this year, so I am guessing that is why the next season has started so early for her.

Aww, yours must have been born premature. They take extra care but can bounce back and get up to normal weights as they get older. Best of luck to you with her!

She ended up getting the Perlite off her head herself, it wasn't there yesterday :main_yes:

HUGE congrats, Jess! Keep us updated on the little one! Supersnows and Tangs are my faves to watch grow and change! They're so much fun! ;)
