I have 3 leos all female in a viv together they are all around the same age and the same weight. Greatest difference between the lightest and heaviest being 4grams. I noticed a bite mark on one of their backs last week and tonight a noticed a bite mark on the other ones tail.

Do you think i should seperate them?

THEYRE REPTILES! They arent, and never can be friends with eachother. "Cuddling" is a way for one leo to show dominance to the others. IMO you should separate them permanently. Theyll be happier alone.

I would separate atleast the injured ones. I would be nervous to go to school/work and leaving them there and coming back to a really hurt or even dead gecko. I've heard of people having gecko together then just problems occur out of no where.

You think like I do on this subject (even if you are 100 years old! ;) ).

I believe leos should always be housed seperate except at breeding time.

I will seperate them but dont alot of people keep them in groups. I have 3 other females in a viv together and they are fine no problems at all.

Yes, some folks house in groups (females of course), I used to do that too.

After I seperated them, and gave each leo his/her own 20g home, I noticed a difference in their behavior, eating habits, etc.
I also noticed that they bond with me better, and are easier to handle.

Yes, I recently seperated my two girls... about a month or two ago. They were eating fine, and I didnt notice injuries, but they looked a tad bit slim. I seperated them, and they both gianed conciderable weight... one actually doubled (and she was not dangerously skinny to begin w/, of course she was still growing...) So I say that seperating them deffinatly cuts down on stress and boosts there ability to thrive! I think you will notice resuls very quick as well.

I know folks mostly want to house their leos together in one terrarium to
save money or space. That may work out great, or it may not.
If they are doing it because they think their leo needs company, they are
mistaken.

I hate to be rude, but anyone considering buying leos (or any other animal for that matter) should be prepared to spend the money, or provide the facilities needed to properly house and care for them.

If in doubt, do not buy the animal.

I am not directing my comments to anyone in particular, just throwing in my 2 cents. :)
