Now would be a good time to ask if you want something speed painted (digital). I just got my new Cintiq in the mail from the contest that I won in May (FUCK YEAH!) and I'm psyched to give it a spin.

A speed painting is something like this:

Something I can get done in less than an hour.

If I really like what I'm working on I might turn it into a full piece, so please give me your ideas! I'm going to do this first come first serve and PLEASE don't get offended if I don't pick your idea.

I'd like to do at least one of these a week so I am continually working on something. When I'm in school it's hard for me to work on ANYTHING other than projects but summer is coming up (next week!) so I will have more time to work on things.

I am also a commissionable artist if anyeone is interested

wow, how much would you charge to make me one????? Is it one of those things where you can put a picture in the machine and it prints it? IF so i can send you pictures that i would want you to make and Id buy em!! That is neat !

Speed paintings are free and are to keep me sharp that is why I requested if you want something speed painted (sketched) to keep it to something I can do in less than an hour (no background, one character, etc)

If you want to commission me for something much higher quality feel free to send me a PM and we can work something out. I'm very flexible.

I'm not sure what you mean by putting a picture in a machine and it prints it. I am an artist and I create the artwork

Well, technically I did get a type of machine in the mail. It's a Cintiq, a type of Wacom Tablet. I won it in a contest

This is a Cintiq

It enables you to draw directly into a program like Photoshop or Corel Painter (and others) to create digital artwork. The tablet I had was not nearly as fancy (no screen interface, just a tablet and you had to watch the screen as you drew.).

Thanks for the compliments! These speed paintings are very rough and done under an hour so..they look kind of iffy to me, haha.

The first speed painting I'm doing is of Kitsune's bell female. I'll post it as soon as I get it done (Which will be after Monday, my last day of classes this quarter.)
