Odd Licking Behaviour

I noticed my Male Sunglow had is tail arched and he was turned & licking a clear secretion from his rectum !?

Has anyone seen this? Is this a bad sign?

He has not lost weight or has shown any signs of trouble.

Sometimes they'll clean themselves in this manner. It's really nothing to worry about (unless it looks as if he's got a prolapsed hemipene)

It might just be a case of "boys being boys". I noticed my male leo doing this a lot right around when he turned one.

yea, what Yvette said. lol. especially if he is housed within close proximity of a female. some of the girls start to come into season right about now. two of mine are already laying. men:main_rolleyes:
