Odds not in our favor so far

Just grumbling to some friends.
First a perlite change because of a mix up and we lost 6 eggs.
Then one hatchling doesn't make it.
The good- so far 1 snowbell, 1 poss snow bell and 1 half decent stripe.
My ratios of normals vs other vs pattern just don't seem to be favoring me so far this year for the rest of the babies so far
And I have some very stubborn females that are having no interest in males. Grrrrrrr. Ok, done grumbling.

I also lost a couple clutches because I got cheap and bought the least expensive perlite i could find...never again!!! then, a couple weeks later, I had a week old (seemingly perfectly healthy) hatchling die There are some difficult aspects to what we do, life is boldly in our face, at all times. But I wouldn't have it any other way

if THIS makes you feel better, i havnt even had the chance to lose some eggs because my leos won't breed.
i hope your year starts getting better
