Sweet! That is so awesome!! The second batch of pictures reallly shows the moon and sun very well!!! I wish I could've seen it...darned clouds:angry: !

And ya know, now that I think about it...what's the difference between a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse? Stupid question I know, but I forget :shy: .

A lunar eclipse is when the earth gets between the sun and the moon.

A solar eclipse is when the moon moves infront of the sun and blocks it out.

August 1st 2008 at approx 8:00 am. (CST) a solar eclipse will happen! but dont look at it with naked eyes, use #10 or higher welders glass to view it.

Ok, thanks...I get it now :main_thumbsup: ! I hope to get to see the solar eclipse, being that it's a Friday I will be getting to work at about 8 am, just in time to look at it for a quick minute.

Thanks for the pics! I went outside to look (thankfully BEFORE I woke the children up) and it was totally overcast :main_thumbsdown:
