Hello, you guys might remember me, I posted about my baby leo recovering from coccidia. Well she didnt make it :( But I got a bigger healthier gecko to replace her "Razz". Razz lives with my male leo "yoshi". I have had Yoshi since Feb 28th and Razz since March 10th. Razz is doing very good, eating pooping drinking. Yoshi now has stopped eating! they both shed about 2 weeks ago so I know its not that and after they shed they ate about 3 wax worms each to try and plump them back up. Yoshi was in the tank with the other sick leo for about 2 days then when i found out she had coccidia i moved him, plus everything in the tank she was in has been thrown out and replaced and the tank was "wiped out" by that cleaner zilla makes. Its been since about March 4th that he was with the sick leo and he has been fine till now. They get gut loaded, powdered crickets as well at meal worms in a calcium dish, cold moist hide, warm dry hide, temp on warm side is about 90 at the warmest point, then down to about 70ish at night. Cool side stays about 70ish. Substrate is repti carpet (brown carpet not that fake grass looking stuff) He isnt skinny skinny at all but he hasnt eaten like he use to in about a week! I thought maybe Razz was being a bully but he is the one laying on top of her and he follows her around. they seem to love each other and they were both eating like champs till last week. One time when feeding he accidently bit her mouth as they went for the same worm, could he have a cut inside his mouth maybe? Ok so I still have some Albon left over from when the other one was sick, should I try just a small dose of that and see if he gets better in a few days? I was also thinking about getting some Jump Start from zilla, does this actualy work like it says it does? And if he does have a cut (iv watched him yawn and didnt see anything) how do i treat it in his mouth? Oh Man, I think im going to just give up if this guy dosnt make it either... my rep vet in this county is out of town till April other wise I would just take him to see the doc. I dont trust the dog cat vets here and they wont even agree to see me with a rep. Help? anyone?

How big are they? Males will try to breed with females even if they seem way to small to breed. They can both get stressed out and forget about food. Aside from the fact that it's better to house males and females separately (especially if you don't want the female to become gravid), you should be quarantining them at this point anyway. Not only does a quarantine give you time to determine that they are healthy, it also gives them time to settle in with little stress. This means setting them up in separate tanks and not cross contaminating anything for at least 30 days.
