Eeeeegawd!! I was in the process of feeding my little ones some roaches, so I had my separate feeder roach bin on the table (about 10 quart size), before I knew it one of my cats, Jasmine, was on the counter and managed to swipe the container clean off the table, roaches, feed, and gel crystals all over the place. There was about 70 roaches in the feeding bin at the time, thankfully most of the smaller ones were still clenching to the egg cartons and I was able to scoop up the majority of the big/juvenile roaches. I still think there's a few loose ones around in my room though, hopefully they're males and not pregnant females. So let this be a warning to you, be careful whenever you have your smaller feeder roach bins in the open and you have cats, those felines are sneaky sneaky sneaky trouble makers!! :p

Oh no! My biggest fear with keeping roaches is that a couple might escape and infest. Dubia get pretty big too. Cats can be so mischievous. Maybe you should set out some roach bait before they have the time to reproduce. Good luck Lanita.

The reason I can't have roaches: risk of infestation. Which is a shame, because I think my little guys would really enjoy them

LMAO

I have HAD this night mare where I tip over the tub or the box spills and the whole apartment is COVERED in roaches!!!!!!!!...... I get this esp when I have a shipment coming, I just got 8 THOUSAND last week.

I've never dumped it, but I do occasionally find an escapee, usually in the bathroom lookiing for water.

That's why I'm really careful with my roaches, I haven't had an escapee yet, because a lid is always on them wherever they go.

Although I doubt they could infest in alaska lol.
