NOT!!

I had Chrysler send me pay offs and VINs to match up to the contract # on 25 vehicles we have financed through them. We have no idea what the fuck two of them are and we've been paying on them for some time. One is an import which it seems we don't have in our possesion, not sure on the other yet.

I'm going to try not to blow my top until Monday when I can call Chrysler back and find out if they messed up on the VINs but they would have had to mess up something bad for the one VIN to look like it's an import vehicle. I've got a guy at the dealership we deal with looking up the VINs as I type this to find out wtf they are.

I am not a happy camper right now..... not only are these cars that are not here in our possesion (who's I'm afraid to find out) but it's over $20k in loans that I'm paying on.

If this is not a mistake on Chrysler's part, I guess my only recourse it to report the vehicles stolen? I mean what other way do we retrieve them without knowing about the cars are or who as them? They are in the company's name so I can do that... :D

Wow - that totally sucks, Felicia! I hope Chrysler figures out the error - and refunds the money you've been paying on them! Reporting them stolen sounds like a good way to figure things out though.

I'm hoping that's the case and not that they just fucked up and put the wrong VIN to these two loans.

I'm waiting for my lazy ass manager to bring back all the titles and loan papers that he took to his office months ago that he was supposed to bring back the same day. He's really starting to piss me off too.

I just did the math on those two payments per month it's just over 16K a year!! I'll have to go back and find out how long we've been paying on them.

If you're wondering how we would not know the VIN to a loan. Chrysler sends a statement there is no payment book. The statement does not show VIN, make or model.... nada, just the date and amount owed. Spanky only had a few of these marked and filed to show which went with which vehicle, but he even had some of them wrong.

Hopefully it will all be sorted out tomorrow. I think I'm going to drink a glass of wine before I call them..... I'm afraid to find out how much they've really screwed this up.
