This might be a weird type of Rave but I must say I've been on a mission to find another comfortable bra that was pretty, affordable and supportive. I don't have mando boobs but it's hard to a decent 36D sized bra. Most places like Victoria Secret CLAIM that they have a 36D BUT when you put it on your spilling out all over the place, it has NO SUPPORT what so ever and most of their stuff is averaged at $50-$75. All I can say about their bras are that they're pretty and sexy! I go to Macy's and other similar stores and while they have my size that might fit I'm stuck with an ugly granny style in either white, black or nude! I'm turning 21 soon; I'm young, flirty and hope to be sexy when I want to be and I want that to show with my undergarments even if no one will see them.. i want to feel pretty on the surface and underneath as well.

Anyway today I was at the mall and passed a store that was called "Cacique" as I looked in the window I saw that they were a bra store and seemed to carry bigger sizes and very stylish bras so I walked in and was a little tramatized. I don't mean to offend anyone but I've never seen a 44H and was shocked to see one when I first entered the store. Feeling a little intimidated I walked back out and joined my friends. After a stroll in NY&Co I decided to go back into the store with a friend for support. As I walked around I couldn't find my size anywhere since everything was DDD, F, G, H. The girl at the register saw me just wandering aimlessly around the store and asked if she could assist me. I told her I was just looking for a regular white bra to start out with that had a sexy shape, support and was affordable. Well she walked me to the back of the store and pointed out a "cotton plunge bra" that was simple but the plunge made it very sexy. She told me I should try it on and see if I liked the fit. I did and I fell IN LOVE! It was so comfortable, sexy and ONLY $32 as opposed to the $75 I spent at VS that I couldn't wear because if I moved I would pop out. I told her I had to have that bra but wanted to start off with a white one because I needed a white one. She was nice enough to order it online and have it shipped to my house and I got a $10 discount with FREE SHIPPING, so it really cost $22 and change. I'm so happy I found a decent bra boutique that has nice things while being affordable.

That's awesome! Anyone who's hard to fit can understand that. It sounds like you totally scored. I finally found a sports bra in my size the other day for $40 on ebay (that's actually a deal for me believe it or not), ordered it, it fit and was comfortable. It was the highlight of my week!

You've got my attention. I know how you feel. You sound exactly like me with the pop-out problem. I'm with Fe, do they have a website? Oh, I also agree with VS. I find you have to go up a size in everything they have. I think they want everybody to feel bigger than what they are, as if bigger is always better.

I need to find that store! I have such a hard time finding anything in my size, too. The last two I tried on at VS did not fit right at all.:(

I'm glad you found something! VS .. yea it's sexy but it's expensive! And not all girls want there you knows to be huge! IE the fact everything is underwire, padded, and pushup. I just go to gap, they've had some pretty comfortable ones.

I miss the days of working at VS and getting thier new bras for free...most were uncomfortable bc they are all extreme push ups though. :p Doesnt sound like I would be able to shop in that store if you know what I mean hahaha!

You ladies might try the Gilligan O'Malley Favorite Fit Bra at Target. It looks like they're sold out of most sizes online right now but they cary them in stores also. The band fits small so you can get the bigger cup/smaller band sizes that are hard to find for $11! For example, their 34DD really fits like a 32DDD. :main_thumbsup:

To save money I usually shop at the specialty store one a year to find out what fits and only buy a couple (I'm sorry but $60-100 each is highway robbery) and then buy the others that I want off ebay.

in the BBC thing they talked about how most women arent wearing the right size bra to begin with, and most actually have a bigger bust then they think

This company is actually an extension of Lane Bryant the store I went to actually did fittings as well.

I didn't notice it was an extension of Lane Bryant until I walked to the back and saw that it was connected to Lane Bryant next door. Many of their bras have a little nice lace detailing, poka dots, animal print, they just have a little something for everyone.

I walked out of the fitting room with one in and the other one removed. Padded gave me a porn star look, lmao. My and my friend couldn't stop cracking up..

I'm about to order the Seamless 5-way convertible bra.. it's just $23.80! Yippy!

RangoDango, that is so true. I just started getting fitted a few years ago and have been pretty much the same size for the past few years but I still go to make sure.

There's another store called Intimacy they have it in a few states across the US you can check their website. They do an entire consultation but their bras average at $50-75 but I can't afford that. Before that I went to a specialty store right here in the Bronx. The woman their was Puerto Rican and would give me discounts for the hell of it because I was Puerto Rican as well, lmao but they have since went out of business.

Who needs padding or pushups when you're a DD? :main_rolleyes: I usually end up cutting out the padding when I can.

I can usually find bras that are black, white and nude, in my size, none of the cute colors. :( On the rare occasion I can find pink or red. :main_yes:

I wish lane bryant would start at 34. That's what I need. 34DD:eek: I was spilling out of the VS ones.
