Okay, I'm officially addicted to Guitar Hero

Last week when we were house sitting for a friend, the only form of entertainment we had was Guitar Hero. They didn't have the internet out there, ugh. Knowing that this was all we had to to do I was "challenged" by our friend Sam, and she told me to get practicing. Needless to say I played the living crap out the game while I kept an eye on their house and needy dog all week. When we were done house sitting last weekend, I ran out and bought it for myself haha. I've been playing off and on again all this week. This darn game is addicting! Val really likes it as well. We want to get another guitar, but no one has them in stock for the 360, even online. The only place you can find them is on ebay $20 overpriced since they're in high demand...and the shipping is $25-30. I guess we'll be playing solo for now.

Anyways, this is a really random post. I just wanted to see if anyone else shared our addiction.

I'm doing really well. I'm stuck on the last few Hard Songs and the first few Expert songs. I hear Sam is a whiz, but I should be able to give her a run for her money whenever we have our challenge soon :D

I'm glad I'm not alone. I need to practice my hammer-ons and pull-offs. I know how to use them, but I end up strumming many times instead. It's hard for me to remember to use them when there's a huge lead blasting by. I do okay but I can't pull it off all the time though, especially with Freebird on hard. Around 75% hammer-ons and pull-offs are must. I need to practice some more.

I love guitar hero but my brother keeps jacking the PS2, the game and/or the guitar. So I end up playing WoW or EQ instead (and feeling grumpy). I love that I can play ok on that even having absolutely no musical talent to speak of. :p
