I love showing off my gorgeous girl. Nakomis.
So here are some pretty old pictures of her from when she was younger.
First things first.
At first, I knew virtually nothing about Leopard Geckos. Nakomis herself was an early birthday present, mostly cus my dad wanted her, heh.
She was reeeeeeeally scrawny. I honestly thought she wouldn't make it, and to make it worse, in my excitement I stressed her out by showing her off and taking her out too much and she regurgitated the few things she ate.
Luckily, a miracle happened and she survived and I feel great about it. She's thriving now.
So as far as the sand goes, I didn't know it was potentially life threatening to them.
It is now gone, I use paper towels for the time being.
No more sand. So no need to comment on it.
Also, at the time she was being housed in a 10 gallon tank. She has been successfully moved to a nice roomy 20 gallon, which, I think she enjoys.
Anyway, enough of my babbling. I hope to get more recent photos of her, but for now, enjoy~
