So we decided to clean the crestie tanks out and get them all switched to coco fiber since half were on it already. They had all been on it at some point, but apparently Calypso here was the most thrilled out of them all over the change in her tank. Why can't we all be this happy over simple things like dirt!? LOL. Good thing the camera was handy. :main_thumbsup:

We had used reptile carpet for them and it was just a mess to clean after a while. And with the adults, for us at least, you pretty much had to change papertowel every time they went to the bathroom since is just stinks that bad. (I swear, they bomb the room. You know it's one of them.)

Cute video :) I wonder why their poop :toilet: smells so bad though? Do you feed a lot of crickets? I feed a cricket or 2 once every week or 2, and my cresties enclosures always smell fruity (like the CGD) inside? The leos and the beardie however...they can smell like a zoo until it dries!

CGD is available for them at all times and I offer crickets I'd say probably once a week or once ever two weeks. Either way... when they go it's bad. Really bad. I had to redo Jabba's tank today since he killed his papertowel. It stank so bad in here last night I had to leave the room. lol.

That was really funny. THe first picture looks just like how my fire skink usually looks. I've had my crestie on coco fiber for the last 5 years and it doesn't smell at all.

Yeah, I'm hoping the coco fiber masks the poop smell to some extent. 3 out of the 5 kill their tanks every time they go. lol.

I always know when my beardie goes, I know as soon as I walk in the front door, and he's all the way up on the second floor in my sons room! But I haven't noticed anyone else being that stinky?

Anyway, that was a really cute video, I like how he just had a little dirt hat on and just left it there, unbothered by it, I kindof kept expecting him to shake it of like a dog, lol.
