OMG. Gecko Getting High

And people say they don't like to climb. This is the highest possible point in the tank. She is not to far from touching the screen. She is about 10.5 inches off the ground.

The first time she did this tonight, I couldn't get the camera in time. She tends to stop doing stuff when she knows I am going to take a picture. I left the camera out and a short while later she went right back up there.

and now after posting this.....here she goes again, this time on some hanging leaves, I am surprised it held her

Very cool! I love it when my geckos used to climb in their tanks. I'd set up the fake plants and hang them from the corner of the tank.

I thought Hidey got out of her cage (aka my boys did something they weren't supposed to), but there she was hanging out at the tops of the bromeliad plants which are like your pic about 10" up. Whatever makes them happy

I have a climber too. Man...he scampered up to my shoulder in about 2 seconds the other day!

Any that I have had, have always done that, then they will go on your head. Hopefully you don't use hairspray lol.

Leos love to climb, just when compared to other geckos, they are unable to climb many of the surfaces others can. Those are some great pictures! I love watching my leo climb.

Nope, no hairspray LOL. Man his claws hurt

It hurt more than my rats (that I used to have) claws lol
