I'm SOOOOO excited! I am getting my gecko in less than a month! How cool is that? I've researched for a year and a half, and the time has finally come!

There is a local reptile seller (with extremely good quality geckos, snakes, bearded dragons, etc...) near me and they say they can get me pretty much any morph I want. Now, I'm not an expert on morphs, but I would love to get a Las Vegas Albino Mack Snow Eclipse. ^-^ That's probably not the order in which it's actually listed, but it sounds right.

I have everything, and I just have to wait till after band camp (which is in less than a week!) :O

If I get it right then it's a Mack Snow Typhoon you're looking for, good choice :)
It's nice that you waited that much to prepare for your little treasure, post pics when you get it.

Haha I'm a freak when it comes to researching. And a Mack Snow Typhoon is probably what it is called ^-^ It sounds right, at least. I've held leos at PetSmart and they curled up in my hands. ADORABLE!

I don't know why I chose to go to PetSmart... The one near me is EVIL to its animals. The leos are in like a five gallon (tall) terrarium. To make it worse, they put like ten babies in there. :O It makes me so sad :'( BUT! I'm not getting my gecko there. Oh, no! I don't feel like supporting the cruelty at our local store.

There is one thing I couldn't find (I've read like ten books, 45 caresheets, and tons more of info on the internet.) I searched it on Google and kept on getting mixed answers. What happens when a gecko dies? I read that they sorta decompose in a way, but I wanted to make sure that was right. Help? Lol CONFUSED.

Mind describing your set up?

Sure. It's pretty simple. Ten gal, screen cover, uth, two hides [1 warm, 1 moist] water bowl, repti-carpet. I have more stuff but I can't think of it at the moment. I'm on my 3DS right now, so it's hard to type. The set-up isn't actually set up yet. I'm setting it up next week. I'll post some pics once it is. Oh! I have thermometers too.

You might have problems with little toes getting stuck on repti-carpet. I use vinyl tile and its awesome. You didn't mention a calcium bowl, but it would be a good idea. And also a light dimmer to control the uth will be helpful. Getting everything set-up a few weeks before is a great idea so you can monitor the temperatures.

Thank you! That's what I forgot to mention; my calcium dish! Lol. Where do I find a light dimmer? I don't think they have any at our local pet store. Maybe they do. I know that I needed one, I just couldn't find it in town. About how much do you suppose they cost?
