This is my female bell 6 days after being bred. She looks to have one single egg developing inside of her. What does this look like to you? A one egg clutch?

I've had geckos lay single egg clutches before. Today I had a gecko lay 2 eggs, one fertile and one obviously not fertile. I do think I see 2 eggs there, but the best bet is to wait and see what you get.

How are you infering that you are getting fertile eggs? The candling bullseye test? I gottwo eggs from another female yesterday and one crinkled bad this morning but the other still has good shape and feel but it is completely yellow. What do you do with obvious infertiles? (Aliza)

I put everything in the incubator even the ones I guess aren't fertile (they are really small and thin and/or they look and feel like water balloons). If they shrivel and mold I take them out. If they hatch they were fertile. Since I'll probably get over 100 eggs in the course of a season from 4 species, I don't worry about what's fertile, I just incubate and wait and see.

My girl has laid two, one egg clutches this season. (between the two egg clutches) Just for the record - with my reading glasses on - I thought I saw two eggs in the second picture as well. Bob
