Is this a patty stripe? This was this years first hatch a week or two ago. Whatever it is...he has to be the meanest gecko I have ever seen! He squeaks, strikes, and jumps like I have never seen before! I might have gotten lucky here. Result of a bold stripe x mack bold stripe I got from Oregon Gecko. het eclipse anyone?

If I must I suppose :p I hate showing you the female on the right at the peak of egg laying, but here you go. It does make you wonder where it gets all the tangerine from, but I've been extra careful with the records this season.

I can't rule either of those out. The female is actually supposed to be a plain stripe that has supposedly thrown out some bold stripes according to Eric at Oregon Gecko. I believe he got this gecko from Marcia at Golden Gate Geckos, and I think some believe her line of bolds to act as simple recessive. Maybe someone else can chime in on this? Either way, I guess there is always a possibility of a mix up, but I have been VERY careful this year after an unfortunate mix up last year. I don't really think it would be impossible to get a patty stripe from two stripes but it would be unlikely. There are more eggs from this pair so maybe something in the future will help answer this. Thanks.
