Can anyone tell me why she might be shedding so often? She is about 4 years old but has only been shedding this frequently for a couple of months. She's always had a very healthy appetite, she was 69 grams last I weighed her. My other 2 leo's only shed ever 5 weeks or so...I'm not expecting anyone to be able to tell me how to make her not shed so much I'm really just looking for someone to tell me it isn't detrimental to her health (even though she has always had a problem with stuck shed on her toes and her shedding once a week keeps me on MY toes dealing with that :p)

She's still young, and growing. When they're young, eating well, and gaining weight/getting bigger, they tend to shed much more often.

Note that she's 4 YEARS, not 4 MONTHS and this is new behavior. I have one who did that for awhile too, though not as often as every week. I may have read somewhere that it can be a thyroid problem, but dont take that too seriously. If she's otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry.

My Leo shed last sat and he's getting ready to shed again I think. He's spending alotmof time in his humid hide. If anyone finds any info about this please post it up I'm interested in this.

I had a gecko with a shedding problem that turned into a skin infection. She shed more often when she was trying to work this out, so she was shedding every 2 weeks for a couple months. Might consider this, maybe your gecko has some retained shed he/she is trying to work out. I would make sure to look him/her over really well. Key places on the face, toes/feet, tail, and cloaca(bum) region. A warm water soak before and after shed might also help.
