Well! I finally was ready to take some pics of the leo's I got from the FIRE show in Orlando...

I just made a light box...which i believe some people around here use.

If you have any suggestions please let me know...I am not a photographer and I DIY'd this box...and used a digital camera :)

I am currently using household light bulbs and some heat lamps...so I haven't perfected this..

Anyway...here is one of the girls...

She's beautiful! Congrats :D. How do you make a light box? It has proven impossible to take some good pix of my tangs to show their color......

Very nice gecko! She has a lovely carrot tail on her.

I think your pictures came out very well, looks like your homemade light box does the job :main_thumbsup:

She's a beauty!

I also have my own homemade light box. I made it out of a cardboard box, drawing paper, and just use some 3000k (I think) lights...they are the energy saving bulbs.

But it looks like you did a good job on the box because those pictures turned out great! Definitely for a first try...my first try with a light box wasn't so good :D.

Yes, they are either 3000k or a little higher, but it doesn't say it on the bulb and I threw the package they came in away. But I got them from Lowe's. I was searching for 5000k, but had no luck finding them. You could probably try Wal-Mart too...I don't think I looked there. I just think Lowe's had a little more selection.

Well...I'm not sure, lol. The bulb says 15W, so if I understand bulb energy :)D) then that to me means it uses a lot less energy than a typical household bulb would that would produce the same amount of light. They weren't that expensive. I want to say maybe $5 a piece max...I really can't remember, it was a while ago when I bought them.
