Very Nice Gregg!!! Venomous Snakes are some of the most appealing of all snakes in my opinion, too bad I will never have any because that is where I show my "wimpy" side, lol. I don't pay close enough attention to anything to mess with something that could kill me with one wrong move, lol. But I have always been a fan of most of the "hots". Great addition!!

Thanks Shaun,
These guys are pretty snappy but are not very large... The bad thing about this species is that there is next to nothing known about their venom and there IS NO ANTIVENIN... It used to be believed that Atheris venom was almost inactive in humans but we are now starting to see that the exact opposite is true... So this is definitely not a species for the beginner...LOL
As far as wimpy goes, it has nothing to do with it... I am wimpy and I keep hots....LOL

Hey Micheal,
I am just into the African true vipers... The only new world pit viper I would ever consider working with would be Bush Masters... I think all hots are awesome but I really love my African vipers...

I have to agree with Shaun, Hots are beautiful. I think nonvenomous snakes are great too, but as far as beauty goes hots, have it hands down. While I'd never ever own a venomous snake at anytime in my life, and wouldn't dare touch one, I'll admire them from afar when Gregg or other owners post their pics.

She's an awesome little beauty Gregg.

Gregg, I see that you put (c) for the copyright symbol in your pics. Try this....
Hold down the Alt key and using your number key pad on the right type 0169, when you lift the Alt key the © will appear.

You're Welcome. While on your laptop you could always copy and paste it from this thread or anywhere esle you see the symbol, that's how I used to do it until I knew the codes for the symbols.

Good to know I am not the only wimp when it comes to hots, and that is definately not a good species for me especially, I would wonder off into space one too many times, then off to meet my maker, lol. I agree with Felicia, that is why I love this forum, I can let you handle and take pictures of the hots and I can sit back and enjoy, lol. Thanks again Gregg, beautiful snake.
