Alrighty then, yesterday I hatched my last egg of the season! :main_thumbsup: This particular clutch comes with an interesting story. One of which we will NOT be discussing the ethics of. The intended (and hopeful) father of these babies is my Reverse Stripe Raptor. The mother is a Raptor Enigma.
At one point, when breeding season first started this year, there was some miscommunication between myself and my boyfriend/business partner...AND so my Raptor Enigma ended up spending some quality time (I think maybe 9-11 hours, about the duration of my work day) with my Dreamsicle instead of the Reverse Stripe. They were separated when I put two and two together, though.
Anyways, so here we are. And here are the babies. So when things started hatching, I was convinced that my Reverse Stripe still made it happen, because of all the stripe influence the babies have. But then this last one hatched.
The following are photos of all the babies from this pairing. The last photo is the gecko in question.
baby 1 (broken reverse stripe raptor)
baby 2 (abberant banded raptor)
baby 3 (Nova)
baby 4 (Reverse Stripe Raptor)
baby 5 (banded Raptor)
baby 6 (Nova)
baby 7 (Nova)
baby 8 (Raptor)
baby 9 (????????? Enigma)
Sorry so long....opinions??? The mystery hatchling almost looks clear, like a translucent bearded dragon...really crazy looking...something is telling me this is no run-of-the-mill nova, and there might be some snow influence involved here.
