My leopard gecko wont eat any worms.

I tried super worms... but she just looks at it.. then walks away from it.

She doesnt try to go to it and bite it or anything, just completely ignores it.

Could it be that she may have not been fed worms before or she doesnt like worms at all?

At one point we were feeding all of our geckos super worms, but then one day one of the geckos just stopped wanting them. Then another day, another gecko. Now those two geckos in particular will only eat crickets. I don't know what it is, but sometimes they just decide they don't like the superworms anymore. Sometimes they can be really picky!

Could the worm be too big? Some gecko's just don't like certain worms.

I have a picture of her... on another thread.

I was worried about her b/c of her losing color but I believe shes in the process of shedding.

She looks about the size of the one in your picture.

in that case, i think your leo probably too small for supers. i'd try regular ol' mealies if i were you :) but still, some leos only like crickets, or only like worms. but she might like mealies!

I agree. You should start her on mealies. Buy some, wait for them to become beetles and start a colony. In the pic, she looks really young. About a month old or so.

Well, I tried looking for them at the petstore but they only had super worms.. So I decided to get them and let her try them.

but I dont know where I could get any meal worms if they dont have them at the pet store.

(2 different pet smarts, a regular pet store, and a new pet store thats supposed to be getting crickets in but havent.)

Im worried that if I order them offline, they wouldnt be alive.

Where could I go?

You can order heat packs with your shipment to keep them alive through the cold. Ive used www.nyworms.com for mealworms and everything is always alive and healthy. I imagine their crickets should be too.

I dont want to sound like a comercial, but none of my leos would eat mealies either.
Then (from recommendation) I tried Repashy calcium plus.
Now, all my leos are eating mealies dusted w/ RCP :main_yes:
And that makes me very happy, because I have a very nice colony of mealies going. For a while, I was affraid I would have to feed them to the birds! :p

Another thing, when your leo refuses to eat something, it could just be their mood if they dont show interest.
Keep trying several times before you give up.

Only Crickets

I have not had a problem with my Geckos eating only one food item. (Boy, I hope that they never choose to eat one thing.)

I use Crickets, Mealworms, Phoneix Worms and occasionaly Wax Worms.

They have eaten Goliath Worms too.
