Opinions on a self-portrait

Hi everyone,

I need your opinion on a self-portrait I did today with the help of my parents.
I'll finish school this year and there will be a book with information about all pupils of our graduating class and a characteristic about everyone. For that everybody needs a photo. So I'd like to get your opinions on this pic:

That's awesome! I wish I had a photo like that. Most of my photos (this goes double for yearbook photos) I look like a goon.

that is really a fantastic self portrait. very nice with a nice gentle soft feel. it doesnt seem awkwardly staged, if that makes sense. you seem so sweet. and i love your hair!!!
