I didnt really know wich forum this would fit into? Hope this work lol..Ok I got these 2 Jewlrey displays from my wifes work. I was wondering what you all thought of them. I like them...I think lol...The cool thing is no matter how hard I spin and stop the spinning motion the cups stay put, they dont slide around. (did this test with empty deli cups lol) I think this light doesnt do well, and Ill have to use another type.

I like it to but is there any chance of the geckos falling off by moving around or spinning the display?

im sorry i know you kno way more about geckos and displays, and prolly everything in this industry than me, but i dont like it, i mean it looks good, but the geckos are kept at an angle all the time, and in order for people to look at them they gotta spin them around, and you know your gonna have someones little kid, or some inmature adult spin them around for fun, but it looks very nice lol

I love the idea... but on thing i would do is either keep the wheel on YOUR side of the booth so some careless person (careless idiot) doesnt spin it to hard (or spin it hard intentionally) and cause harm to your animals.

I think what would be EXTREMELY awesome would be if you hooked up a small electric motor and made it spin by itself at about 3-6 RPM

Well I tried the maniac spin miself..Im not reall weak lol..deffinatly stronger than a small kid. The wheel doesnt stick out much so its hard to get a good spin on it, and when i spin it hard as i can i also stopped it abruptly, the deli cups didnt budge. But yes that was my biggest concern. The motor idea crossed my mind as well, but being all clear makes that more difficult. Besides, IMO you take the same if not greater risk of a kid knocking all your deli cups in the floor lol..so I dont think that particular problem is gonna alter my opinion on using this... Thanks for the oinions so far and I do really really appreciate the honesty without it I would still be clueless as to what everyone really thinks!:main_thumbsup:

I like it Chris... From a person in a wheelchair's standpoint (maybe sitpoint lol) it is sometimes impossible to see what's on display at shows... With your display it would be easy for just about anybody to see what you have... People could also see from a distance if it's crowded... The only downside is their position... I'd suggest rotating them out every once in a while...

I think its very cool idea. The only thing that seems to be lacking is lighting. I don't know if this idea has already been mentioned, but maybe putting some white l.e.d. strips into the verticle corners of the case would help light it a little better.

The only concern I would have is that the geckos are forced downwards the whole time, and cannot sit flat.
