Orange spot on eyes? No enigma.

Hello guys, i received this female gecko as a gift from my best friend. It has a little orange spot on both eyes.

This gecko was a result of breeding a BEE het RADAR male from Kelli and a Mack Snow het RADAR female. There's no Enigma on her. Would you think this worth to prove out or line breed?

Sorry for the crappy pictures, my camera sucks. First eye picture is right eye, next is left.

Any feedback is welcome!

Kelli didnt produced her, my friend did. He bought the sire from Kelli, a BEE (Eclipse Enigma het RADAR). The dam was a Mack Snow het RADAR, bought from a small breeder who told me he also got it from Kelli.

There is absolutely no enigma on her. Here's a picture of when she was younger:

Well im NOT a genetics expert but you could try to prove her not to be an enigma(i really dont think she is, im with you on this). Maybe pair her up in a way so that if she is enigma then some of the young turn out enigma, and if she isnt then none are?

Im neither an expert but im confident enough on my genetic's knowledge. Enigma is a dominant trait. If she were enigma, likely half of the young will be. There is absolutely NO enigma on her. She doesnt have the syndrome, neither the white tail or blotched pattern.

Im thinking of pairing her to a Tangerine i have, but i havnt proved out if that male has any albino het, as i dont want to mud the waters, becuase this female's 66% possible het Bell.

Maybe i should get a Subspecies male or something more "pure" or breeding her back to his father.

You could just breed her to something basic like a normal/jungle or just a tang if you have a genetically straight one laying around. :p. I mean, in the slim SLIM chance that she breeds out enigma, theres your answer. OR if you have now some how separate the orange eye from the enigma gene, then congrats. OR this is just a random genetic mutation never to be seen again.

I have a SHTCT, but i dont like the idea to breed an unproved leo to one wich you know it has an albino het.

There is no SLIM chance of breeding Enigmas from a non Enigma. It is impossible for her to breed enigmas. The enigma gene is a dominant, so its a matter of totally having it or not at all, which this girl doesnt have any Enigma.

The Enigma phenotype is very obvious. Anyone who knows about genetics will easily agree this girl doesnt have any Enigma on her.

I think this look more like a "new" trait.

At first I'd agree with paradox spotting in the eye. But seeing it in both eyes and knowing other people to have this happen I'd say...
Buy a pure mate, fascio or macularius.
She is for sure female? Buy a male. Incubate first clutch for male. Then next clutch for female. Once you hatch a male, incubate the rest for female. Breed purest looking son (no hypo) to mother and sisters. If it is genetic then the son will be het, giving you 50% visuals bred from mom and 25% visuals, 50% hets, 25% non hets from sisters. It might sound like a big project but I'd put a commitment in it for orange eye pigment gene.

Here is an update...

I bred her to a non het male and guess what... Hatchlings started to show the same coloration on the eyes!!

Here's a picture of one of them, its almost 2 months old. Please tell me what do u think. Im so exited to beed this male hatchling back to mom and sisters! The hatchlings incubated for female show intense tangerine and very dark eyes. Sorry for the dirty cages, i took the pictures right before cleaning.
