Orange Tails?

Right so we own two leopard geckos. One of them is a female Normal. The other is a male Normal Jungle. The past couple of sheds the female has had have brought out a lot of orange on her tail, and is covering about 40% of it right now. I just had my male out after he shed and I nnoticed a small amount of orange on his tail as well. Do Normal's show orange on their tails a lot, or could this be a gene showing or something?

Sounds like they have some carrot tail in them. Tangerines develop their coloring as they grow, you have a pretty good idea of how they will turn out around 30 grams. How old are your geckos?

I'm not sure exactly. The female is a juvenile, and the male is a baby, but not a hatchling.

The second gecko is not carrot tail at all. that orange is just normal coloration. The first gecko does have quite a bit of carroting but it also has many black spots within the carroting and the majority of the tail is regenerated... so they are, as you suspected, normal

Okey doke, thanks! The carroting didn't appear until recently btw if that helps.
