We finally got our 1st baby today! We had some that didn't hatch before this & I really didn't get my hopes up for these eggs either. But I came home to a baby today! It looks like it's a normal. The parents are a blizzard and a mack snow het blizzard. I'm so excited! Hopefully the clutch mate will hatch soon. They were incubated at 83/84 degrees. It hatched out in 45 days and weighs 3 grams. It seems to be perfectly healthy so far!

Hey Kristi, that's AWESOME, congrats!!!! That pairing will definitely be fun to see what comes out of each egg ;) Sorry that you had such bad luck at first, but that is one very adorable little one!!

The second one hatched, too! He/she looks to be a blizzard. The eyes might be solid black, but I can't tell yet. It's smaller and way more fiesty than the other one. I will try to get some pics tomorrow.:)

Thank you! Here is the second one. It was harder to get a picture. He/she is smaller and fast. Also a screamer!

I have no idea why buffy's foot looks like that. There is never any leftover skin & it doesn't look like that as much in person. She walks on it fine, so I hope it's ok.

Thanks Jess! No, it's not just spots. I was able to touch it & I watched her hunt her food. Nothing seems wrong with it. I can't figure it out. I'll just keep an eye on it.
